This week we started Fashion. Our first project involves exploring pattern and fabric manipulation. we began by taking pictures of our environment. i took pictures of car tyres in my dads garage. i was drawn to the different patterns on the tyres. when i printed the pictures, i examined the patterns closely and recreated these patterns in our mark-making class on Tuesday. the mark making helps the pattern evolve and develop.
