De constructing-To dissemble or take apart.

Yohji Yamamoto and 'Anti-Fashion'
Yamamoto has had a career spanning 3 decades, he created great diversity in fashion through the deconstruction of form. because his clothes are de constructed, they were labelled 'anti-fashion'. in 1983, along with fellow designer Rei Kawakubo, Yamamoto paraded black, ripped and torn garments on the catwalks of Paris, shocking the International fashion industry.this was to give the collection a look of poverty, to highlight the hardship that so many people bear in life. pockets were oddly positioned and hemlines unstichted. Deconstruction had made its début.
