Knotting is two or more pieces of fabric which are overlapped or twisted together to form a knot.This adds a decorative quality to the garment.
Another example of knotting in fashion is the 'Chinese knot', which is a small decorative fastening used at the neck of back of a garment.these were traditionally used in oriental dress.
