Ruched

Ruching is a French term which means to gather ruffle or pleat. it is a sewing technique in which fabric is gathered in a repeated pattern to create ruffles. this technique has been used for many years to decorate clothing and accessories, in the Victorian era it was a common feature of most ladies attire.
the ruching technique basically consists of evenly folding, stiching and gathering a lenght of material until the desired look is achieved.
